EVP NCE > SBU NCE Construction & Operations > Operations Logistics Offshore
Heavy Lift & Site Engineering team in Vestas is responsible for the technical and marine operations of Offshore Installation Vessels and jack-ups for Main Component Exchanges in Northern Europe to support our offshore wind projects. You will become a part of the team with skilled and experienced subject-matter experts within the offshore installation and service logistics area.Responsibilities
You will be the expert for assessing the offshore site conditions for the deployment of Jack-up installation vessels during the construction and service phase. With your understanding in complex seabed and soil behavior, you will deliver best-in-class solutions by defining the most optimal and safe vessel setup.
Your tasks can be tailored to you with the areas of:
Preparation of vessel specific jacking assessments for offshore sites (LPA, LEA, SSA)
Preparation of site-specific analysis of soil conditions, considering cables corridors, scour protection and foundation
Review of UXO layouts, sonar scans, seabed layout and Charting and compiling of offshore GIS data
Review of seabed survey and soil data packages for offshore sites
Evaluation of geological risk for offshore sites
Development of innovative ways to reduce risk of unexpected delays on vessel operations
Preparation of jack-up vessel positioning assessments
Qualifications
Experience within jack-up vessels, soil assessments and marine operations will be considered, but not a requirement
During project work, you will use your sharp investigative approach and structural experience to empower the sales and project team create win-win solutions for Vestas and our clients
Have an education as, B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Engineering with a marine engineering, geophysics or geotechnical background
Competencies

Have professional communications and English skills being able to clearly convey complex technical information to relevant stakeholders
Are a collaborator who is also able to work with no supervision
