You will join a team of highly specialised and motivated telecom employees who deliver integrated telecom project solutions to the energy sector all around the world.
You will work from our head office in Esbjerg (Denmark) or potentially from our Norwich office (UK). We also have offices and colleagues in Singapore, Poland and Norway with whom you will be in close contact.
The job involves some travelling to other Semco Maritime locations, to sub-suppliers and to sites occasionally.
You will ensure that all project-related telecom tasks are completed in accordance with our high-quality standards, on time and within project contracts.
Your key roles and tasks will include:
Design and engineering of network solutions for our energy customers. Solutions include, but are not limited to, network design, cyber security, Cisco programming (CCNP) and general change management procedures etc.
Knowledge of industrial IT, offshore telecom systems in general is preferred.
Participate in Front End Engineering Design (Feed).
Work with common database engineering software solutions (COMOS), PC-schematics (cabinet engineering tool) and similar engineering tools.
Follow-up on subcontractors’ designs and securing technical requirements and interface management.
Programming, configurations and equipment testing before Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) at customers’ sites.
Support and cooperation with other teams such as Telecom Service, Tender and Sales.
Your profile
We expect you to have a relevant technical education such as a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or as an electronic technician or similar with experience within networks, industrial IT, telecommunication etc. Fluent English skills are required, and previous work experience from the energy sector is an advantage.We offer:
