Development and Production International (DPI) is responsible for Equinor’s portfolio of producing assets and planned field developments in all countries outside Norway and Brazil. DPI’s operates across six continents and implements rigorous safety standards, technological innovations and environmental awareness.Job DescriptionThe Mechanical Maintenance Engineer reports to Field Maintenance Manager and will have the following areas of responsibility:

• Task reporting is to the Maintenance Engineer to provide effective maintenance execution/strategy delivery

• Discipline support for offshore across the field i.e. both installations MARA and MARB

• Participation in the optimisation of criticality analysis / Preventive Maintenance (PM) program

• Responsible for technical requests (M6) for relevant discipline/system, engaging with Technical Authorities

• Coordination and follow up on Critical Maintenance (CM)

• Provide input to operations plans

• Continuously assess changes in PM interval (increase / decrease of intervals as a result of previously performed PM-tests)

• Participate in Production Optimisation meetings when necessary

• Work order preparation for the discipline in collaboration with offshore

• Close cooperation with mechanical discipline coordinator offshore for input to and preparation of new work orders

• Review work order scope to address the interface with other disciplines

• Create requisitions for services and personnel from suppliers within the discipline

• Create requisitions for materials and equipment

• Ensure quality of requisitions in cooperation with the offshore (parts, equipment, materials) for all preventive and corrective maintenance (PM/CM)

• Follow up requisitions in cooperation with Supply Chain to ensure correct priority on delivery

• Follow up materials that are being repaired in cooperation with Supply Chain

• Quality assurance of notifications and work orders (WO)

• Plan Preparations for the discipline following the planning process for operations and work order plan, attend key planning meetings as agreed with Maintenance Manager/Engineer

• Responsible for preparing and close out of Independent Competent Person (ICP) corrective work M2/PM01 portfolio and initiating ORA's when required. Inclusive of the updating of V-Connect

• Vendor management - responsible person for contracts/services as identified by the Maintenance Manager

• Cost input to budget forecasting and spend to support Maintenance Engineer

• M1 EXWO - maturing and managing execution and close out

• Creating and handling M1 (Mods) through to M1 approvals meeting and preparing for decision gate meeting – engaging with Technical dept for endorsements

• Creating and developing decision templates to support M1 Modifications as assigned by Maintenance Manager/Engineer

• Proactively manage HSE Critical maintenance (PM and CM) activities to prevent/reduce backlog and deferments for the discipline

• Visit offshore regularly and as agreed with the Maintenance ManagerQualifications• Engineer (holding master or bachelor degree) in area of Mechanical Engineering.

• Previous experience as Mechanical Engineer supporting offshore operations beneficial

• Analytic skills and strategic mindset.

• Broad insight in relevant UK regulations, reporting included.

• Excellent skills in IT tools and applications-SAP/Microsoft applications.

• Competence in digitalized operations.

• Mastering LEAN methodology and tools for achieving continuous improvements.
