Marine Handling Solutions
Product Line (PL) Marine Handling Solutions (MHS) is a supplier of high-end equipment to the Oil & Gas, Offshore and marine segments. MHS product areas are Offshore Cranes, Winches, Lifting & Handling Equipment and Access Equipment. The main office for the MHS setup is in Bergen with assembly site in Gdynia and design offices in Bratislava and Rijeka.

We are looking for you that has the ability to find good technical and practical solutions to complex problems! If you can handle tasks on your own but also see the benefit of sharing your expertise to make your team shine, you have the attitude we seek.
Palfinger Marine Norway (PMN) needs to strengthen the mechanical engineering team with two additional engineers. The team now consists of 12 mechanical engineers supporting project department and production. Work is done on both new designs and upgrades of advanced marine and offshore equipment. Typical tasks are concept development based on customer specifications and regulatory requirements. Machinery design, mechanical design of steel structures, assemblies, components and prepare technical documentation according to technical department procedures, customer requirements, international standards. We cooperate with colleagues from other disciplines in Technical department during design of complete product. Our work language is English but we also see it as an advantage if you manage to cep an conversation in Norwegian. In addition you will participate in meetings related to company products design, development, and testing.
Qualifications
Mechanical Engineer or Civil Engineer
Preferably have 3-5 years relevant experience, newly graduates will also be considered
Experience in machinery design within the Marine Industry.
Practical use of design tools like AutoCAD and Inventor or similar 3D software is required
