Assignment Description
Establish, use and maintain the project procedure and guidelines within the material planning system. Optimize the managing of the project procurements and services.Contribute to development and improvement of the project material planning system. Coordinate inter-discipline work related to the delivery of procured items.Receive MTOs from Engineering disciplines and create shop orders and procurement requisitions in the ERP system.Monitor the procurement activities related to order placements and deliveries, making sure they satisfy the installation schedule. Notify procurement a.o. about potential problems. Inform about procurement progress in relevant forums (e.g. fabrication meetings, offshore/onshore meetings)Report delays in delivery of procured items to e.g. fabrication and installation. Establish status/shortage reports of procured items. Link material to the work orders (WO) in the ERP system.Coordinate the delivery of material to the onshore base in accordance with the installation schedule .Have a close dialogue with key personnel in the warehouse, fabrication, procurement and engineering.Responsibility and tasks include, but are not limited to the above. The immediate superior has authorization to change the function’s authority and tasks.
Qualifications required
College or UniversityTechnical and practical understanding of procurement and logistics Experience with ERP systems, preferably IFSGeneral understanding of EPCI projects Good understanding and knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially in mechanical disciplines (structure and piping)Minimum 2 years of experience within relevant project workGood computer skills, especially within ERP systems
