For our Global Blades department within Siemens Gamesa Offshore we are looking for committed and motivated process experts in the areas of composite manufacturing

You will be part of a global R&D team of Process Engineers working on exploration and technology development projects, leading the innovation of blade manufacturing processes.
About the role
You will be responsible for developing manufacturing technologies for offshore Wind Turbine Blades within the area of material layup and resin infusion.
You will be working with concept development and testing of process, new materials and equipment together with a highly skilled team in our technology workshop. In addition, your achievements will be further implemented in serial blade production.
In your daily work, you will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders from Blade design team to global tooling design and local plant engineers.
You will be a part of a young and motivated team where we focus on state of the art technology and innovation.
About you
You hold a M.Sc. in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Materials Engineering - Or a similar educational background.
It is a plus, but not required, that you have a PhD within composites manufacturing technologies.
You have 3-5 years of work experience with resin infusion, prepregs, preforms or material layup
Knowledge or experience with other composite manufacturing processes are as well appreciated.
You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing.
You are experienced user of MS-Office.
Knowledge in composite manufacturing simulation software is highly appreciated.
You have hands-on experience in composite manufacturing processes.
You have a structured approach to your work and can handle simultaneous assignments without losing overview. You possess the ability to work independently as well as in teams and you are good at collaborating with stakeholders at different areas of the organization.
You possess a strong innovative mindset and self-driven personality, although we seek for a balanced team where all personalities can fit in.
