Vestas is currently seeking to fill a position to strengthen our Offshore Engineering team in Northern and Central Europe.
Sales > SBU NCE > Service > Service Operation > Operations Engineering > WTG Engineering NCE > Offshore Engineering NCE
WTG Engineering NCE department is responsible to support regional Service and Construction organisations with technical knowledge to install and operate Vestas WTGs onshore and offshore successfully. The department consists of four teams: Electrical-, Mechanical- and Civil Engineering team supporting the onshore fleet and a dedicated Offshore Engineering team.
The Offshore Engineering team consists of 5 highly experienced and dedicated employees located in Aarhus, Denmark.
Responsibilities
Manage the team and set priorities
Enable your team to work in a matrix organisation
Ensure that regional offshore Service organisations get engineering support on high level
Taking part in customer or supplier meetings and seminars to represent the function
Ensure technical knowledge is shared between WTG Engineering teams
Ensure continuous development of the team members to maintain highly skilled organisation
Qualifications
Bachelor/Master´s degree in Engineering discipline
Proven experience in leading engineering team with high customer interaction
5+ years of experience in an engineering function
Ability to communicate clearly in English language, verbally and in writing, skills in German language is a plus but not required
Competencies
Good leadership skills and strong and effective communicator
Strong technical and analytical skills
Good social skills and cultural understanding since you will work with many stakeholders within NCE region
Customer oriented and the ability to understand the business value seen from a service and customer perspective
Structured, self-driven, takes initiative and ownership
Highly self-motivated and results orientated candidate able to become part of a leadership team
Able to multitask and prioritize daily work under a fast-paced environment
Ability and willingness to travel within NCE region

Additional Information
Primary work location will be in Aarhus, Denmark
Travel activities to other office locations expected to be around 20 days per year.
