Purpose of the positionResponsible for implementing the overall HR agenda of the Division and ensuring that it is in line with the department / function business requirements, Division business strategy and Cargotec & MacGregor HR strategies and policies
Understand people related trends, issues and challenges in the division through feedback from the people managers, consolidating people related issues and problems, analyzing HR related data and reading weak signals in the organization.
Evaluate the organization's future workforce needs (capabilities and capacity) according to the business strategy plans.
Responsible for bringing organization needs and views to the Division business strategy and annual HR Plan
Supporting implementation and application of the agreed Cargotec and MacGregor HR policies, processes, and programs within the Division
Responsible for implementing an annual HR plan, objectives and appropriate HR programs for the Division together with the Division HR Director
Acts as an interface for people managers in the Division, Cargotec Business Services and the MacGregor and Cargotec global HR networks, enabling managers to perform people related work
Member of Division HR team and Business Line management team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESOverall tasks
Build relationships with people managers to develop and implement local action plans/points that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organization's overall human resource strategy.
Provide support and coaching to managers in key HR processes, leadership, change management, employment life cycle processes, policies and guidelines.
Implement and maintain agreed division HR plan and budget. Secure human resources policies and processes in line with the global human resource strategy to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Direct a variety of human resource-related activities and initiatives to ensure that the organization's current and future human resource requirements are met and that employees are recruited, managed, organized, trained, evaluated and rewarded in accordance with organization's human resource strategy.
Acts as change agent to enable the organization to thrive through periods of change, e.g. acquisition, internal growth, restructurings.
Supports and coaches managers in building and maintaining an impactful talent pipeline; ensures the mobility of talent across the Division and company
Specific tasks
Coaches and advises people managers on all HR issues.
Supports people managers to carry out a workforce plan aligned with its strategies and resource needs.
Supports people managers in performance management and in alignment of individual objectives with the business and leadership objectives.
Guide managers when working with unions and helping to connect with country HR teams.
Promotes the use of best HR practices among the Division.
Manages and communicates relevant/agreed/ applicable HR data and information in the Division.
Communicates HR related topics throughout their responsibility area
Supports people managers in developing and enhancing their personal leadership.
What you’ll need to succeed:Education
Applicable University Degree
Experience
Minimum 8 years working experience in HR full spectrum.
Prior experience of working in a manufacturing/engineering/maritime environment appreciated
Prior experience in global and Asian business environment considered appreciated.
Competencies & Skills
Ability to apply knowledge of HR programs, policies, and practices to carry out programs that support the Division needs.
Understands business priorities and the impact that they have on HR agenda – and vice versa.
Ability to work in a global matrix organization.
Communication/Negotiation:
Fluent in English
Ability to provide clear guidance to line management and team members regarding implementation and development of HR programs.
Ability to lead negotiations effectively with others, i.e. line and HR management, other functions and other HR professionals, to define goals and strategies for attaining them.
Ability to influence and to support people managers in influencing their staff.
Problem Solving:
Ability to analyze HR related data, issues and needs, read weak signals in organization, implement solutions to meet these needs/address these issues, as well as assess the business impact of these solutions.
Ability to anticipate HR related problems/issues.
Leadership:
Ability to proactively identify and take forward issues and opportunities and take responsibility for tasks and decisions.
Ability to coach and support people managers
Ability to lead and manage people.
You will be part of:Close co-operation with Business Area country management, HR Legal and union representatives as well as employee and union representatives, external vendors and CBS HR Services teams.
