This position is primarily based in Brande , Denmark but can also be placed in Spain.
How to contribute to our vision
As part of O nshore Logistics Maritime Transport, you will be responsible for managing the Maritime Portion of the Logistics Projects of On shore ensuring the delivery of Siemens Gamesa's finish products from the Facilities or Port of Origin up to the Destination Port according to cost, time, quality-effective , and program-aligned solution in order to achieve operational excellence.
Your Key Responsibilities will be:
Gather the project requirements presented in the Project KOM
Define the strategy of the maritime portion of the project according to the requirements provided by the regions project owners
Prepare the RFQ along with the Project timeline and the Packing list validate them with the regions and send it to Procurement Corporate
Work together with Procurement Corporate to validate the offers from a technical point of view
Attend the Contracting Committee to decide the suppliers to be awarded
Prepare Transportation plans of the components to be shipped
Manage in SAP all the physical movements of the stocks in our scope
Prepare the drafts of the shipping documents according to the Project requirements to be provided to the Export Region and support ECC in the customs clearance at origin and destination
Work with Logistics Quality and H&S to ensure the quality and safety company procedures are always followed during the activities in our scope
Monitor and control the shipments and solve any contingency that might arise to guarantee the timelines are fulfilled
Monitor and control the costs of the activities in our scope to guarantee the budgets are fulfilled
Negotiate with ship owners Day to day and technical aspects of the shipments
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. The ideal candidate has a Tertiary level education or equivalent, preferably in International Trade or Organization, or a postgraduate training in Logistics, Shipping , or Maritime business . You probably also have 4-5 Years' experience in the transportation industry, shipping , and maritime business .
You have great user experience in SAP and excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
You will probably describe yourself as:
Good communication, writing , and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of management principles and practices, organizing and planning skills
Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure
Positive attitude
Diligent and patient
A high level of personal drive, perseverance, and logic
Lastly, you also have the a vailability to travel as you may be required to attend meetings outside of the normal workplace.
