In Global Tools we are responsible for the usage, delivery and support on tools for our turbines around the world. You will be part of a sub-department that gives technical support to the sites and projects located in the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) as well as Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. You will be part of a large team consisting of many different profiles ranging from procurement, to warehouse, production, in- and outbound, Pick and Pack, to logistics as well as technical engineering. The team is international, since we in our alone, we are placed at four locations: In Videbæk (Denmark), in Husum, Mutzschen (Germany), Zaragoza (Spain), and Warrington (England).
Responsibilities
As a Logistic Manager you will be responsible for:
Ensuring that the Logistic Department delivers materials according to the production plan, in the right quality and quantity
Supporting TMP (Tools Management Program) project
Motivating and coaching team of 8-10 people, - including conduction of CPD (Continuous Performance & Development)
Ensuring that the team executea logistic tasks in the most efficient way, and the targets stated in the KPI's for Logistics are met
Supervising the budget in your area
Making sure that shipping and production plans are updated weekly and the schedules are followed
Controlling the safety in Logistic area
Utiizing the systems (Logistic and SAP)Qualifictions
At least 3 years of experience in the Logistics,Transport or Manufacturing environment
At least 2 years of experience in the people management, or on the role like Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager
Good experience working in SAP
Experience in the cusotmer relationship management - proven abilities to identify customers and their needs
Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean techniques
Fluency in English - both verbally and in writingCompetences
Solid communication skills
Able to communicate to all levels in the organisation In addition
Being result and detail-oriented and structured, same focused and able to adjust to sudden changes
Process-driven and willing to have talent to motivate and coach your team, as Manager - being able to step back and let the organisation deliver while you secure the overview
