Being a part of Next WTG Solutions team, you will be included in a highly experienced and committed team, taking leadership for implementing Vestas strategy, supporting the Service and Construction organisations and local business units with technical knowledge.
Creating tools and methods for efficient concept studies on WTG or park level
Development and tuning of production control algorithms for various wind turbine concepts and park layouts
Operational expertise and verification campaigns of wind turbine demonstrators
Creating load models, simulate and evaluate results for various wind turbine concepts
Software tools development
Wind turbine concept risk analysis
Overall turbine design and optimization in collaboration with other system specialists
Qualifications
The right candidate has worked in a similar role in Loads and control department.
MS or BS Engineering degree
5 -6 years of experience with wind turbine control design
At least 3 years of experience with wind turbine research, development, or innovation
Understanding of wind turbine physics and loads
Experience with aeroelastic simulations and knowledge on HAWC2 is good to have but not mandatory
Solid programming skills
Knowledge about wind turbine design & turbine safety systems, control hardware and sensors
Experience with statistics and data analysis
Solid communication skills in English (written, verbal and presentation)
Experience with high-paced cross-functional and cross-cultural teams is a benefit

Your primary work location will be our office in Aarhus, DK
Travelling to various sites will be part of the role – expectedly 10-15 days a year.
