The position

You will be part of our Consulting department in Consulting & Outsourcing, which assists the largest global customers in the wind turbine industry with consulting on both shorter and longer terms. In the position you will be supporting our customers with either mechanical development, root cause analysis, continuous improvement or whichever else the customer needs. You will primarily be placed at the customers’ location and work directly with your stakeholders having your ENABL team in your corner whenever you need it.

Your primary work areas could be:
Mechanical idea and concept development.
Designing mechanical structures.
Contributing to optimal interaction between multidisciplinary teams.
Helping to ensure the project is delivered according to specifications, agreed time, quality, and budget.
You will be based in Århus or Ikast but mostly you will be at the customers’ location.
Professional qualifications

You are probably a mechanical engineer or have other relevant technical training, combined with more than 5 years of experience.

You have experience in the design of production equipment and/or individual machines. Over the course of your career, you may have gained insight into various manufacturing processes, including robotics and other automated processes.

You are familiar with the design and calculation of steel and welded structures. Generally, you have acquired extensive knowledge of materials and technologies. Your experience combined with your in-depth knowledge enables you to work creatively and resourcefully in the design phase, while ensuring a high level of confidence in the chosen solutions.

You must be a user of a 3D drawing program as Inventor, Solid Works, NX, Creo or similar, and be proficient in spoken and written English.
Personal qualifications

As a person, you work in a structured and persistent manner, as the assignments can be of a long duration. You are a good listener and can understand complex issues. You have a practical approach to finding solutions and work purposefully and focused on delivering results.

You have good communication skills and a healthy understanding of business and commerce. You already have some international experience and are motivated by the opportunity to work in international engineering teams. Your good sense of detail does not detract from your focus on the bigger picture.
