You will join our technical LV team located in our Offshore Wind Business area, where we have constructed one of the largest project portfolios within offshore substations in Northern Europe, Our Offshore Wind markets include Europe, Asia Pacific and USA, which means that you can expect to be involved in projects worldwide.
You may choose between working from our Ballerup office in the greater Copenhagen area or from our head office in Esbjerg, whatever is the most convenient location for you.
The job will involve some travelling up to 30 days a year.
You will be part of the value chain, interfacing with multiple disciplines and working on technical solutions ranging from project development to supporting design and development execution throughout all phases of the projects.Your key duties will include:
You will become the Lead Designer of LV Power systems including switchboards, UPS/DC systems, Lighting, Earthing/Bonding, Heat Tracing and Cableways from early start throughout the construction phase of the projects.You are the person in charge of budget, reaching project milestones and maintaining a high quality for the LV scope of work within our EPC or Product Line (development) projects.Through interactions with customers and Semco Maritime team, you can create proposals, technical solutions and project documentation that meet the expectations on multi-discipline projects.You have strong communication skills, can build up collaboration with our supply-chain and follow-up on technical design with our subcontractors.You will be one of our “cultural architects”, meaning you will be building and supporting a positive culture within the team and asking where you can help support our stakeholders when needed.
Your profile
You have a degree/graduation within the electrical scope of work e.g. Marine Engineer, AP Graduate (el-installatør) or Electrical Engineer. You have insight and experience with LV power installations and are familiar with industry design standards. It is an advantage if you have experience within the offshore industry or former work as an electrician.
You have high standards and are eager to share your knowledge with the project team and department.
