Junior Accounting Analyst – now hiring!

COP is a world-leading offshore wind developer and a first-mover in emerging markets for offshore wind.

We are a small, agile, and highly skilled team with some of the strongest competencies in the offshore wind industry covering all aspects of project development and construction of some of the largest and most complex renewable energy projects in the world. We are a multi-disciplinary team covering all the engineering, finance, legal, regulatory and permitting disciplines needed to succeed.

We support one of the world’s leading renewable infrastructure investment funds, CIP with more than EUR 7bn under management, in developing and delivering their project pipeline. COP has been growing rapidly for the last two years and we continue to grow in all our core markets in Europe, Asia and North America. We have offices in Copenhagen, Boston, Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo and Melbourne.

To support our growth ambitions, we have set up an agile team consisting of currently 10 students within the Finance function, to which we are now adding students to work in our Accounting department. Therefore, we are looking to hire one additional of the very best students within finance, accounting, engineering or business law. The team is the focal point scaling COP from the rapidly growing international start-up it is today to a successful and significant larger global company.

Key duties for you and the team will be to:

Accounting with special focus on Accounts payable

Prepare payments in the bank for our Danish entity and subsidiaries all over the world

Record intercompany transactions into the accounting system

Prepare VAT filings

Prepare the books for quarterly closing

Be part of the continuous improvement of our accounting processes for better processes and increased efficiencies

Other ad hoc Finance/Accounting projects/tasks
About you:

We expect you to be self-driven, curious, eager to learn and keen to challenge yourself with new tasks in a changing and challenging environment. Ideally, you will be in your bachelor or the first year of your master program and have completed the first part of your study as one of the best in your class.

You have experience from previous student job(s)

You can work 15-20 hours per week
