An exciting key role in Fleet Technology - Mobility & Connectivity team, where you will be working with projects ranging from Proof-of-Concepts to large scale deployment.
You will be part of an experienced and international team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing:Container IoT technologyVessel communication infrastructureSatcom, cellular and mesh connectivity technologiesSensor technologiesNew standards for the logistics industry
The possibility to use existing skills as well as develop new skills, knowledge, and ambitions within the maritime and land-based logistics domain.
You will be working closely together with colleagues from Commercial, Operations and Technology to understand and act as secure link to leverage our cross functional capabilities.

Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing activities and projects within IoT enablement and the associated connectivity technologies for assets (cargo, containers, and vessels).
Your primary tasks will be support formulating and translating business challenges into technical digitalization proposals and from here scope, design and develop the solutions in close cooperation with colleagues in the team as well as cross functional.
Other key tasks:Act as subject matter expert and deliver state-of-the-art capabilities to build up competences within the wireless and hardware close technologiesHave a sound understanding of distilling the core problems and finding fit-for-purpose solutions, while keeping an eye for the long-term roadmap development, ensuring that quality and foresight is built into the products being deliveredEnsure that capabilities and products are developed generically, to allow cross-business usage, to lower costs and maximise utilization
We are looking for
A digital native with passion for designing and engineering solutions that will enable our assets to support our digitalization agenda.
You have some engineering experience since graduation, however, most importantly is the passion and ability to use your excellent analytical skills to deeply understand the challenge we are trying to solve for our customers and hereby develop the right approach to address it.
You have a personality that thrive in lifting together, rather than in autonomy and where team successes are more important than individual achievements.
You have experience with high-level hardware design and wireless connectivity technologies, but truly understanding the business challenge is a critical competence before applying technology.
Whether you are coming with background from maritime or industry is not important. Craftsman background as electrician or similar is an advantage, as understanding the physical world is important.
You have good communication skills in English, with presentation and facilitation experience as a plus.
