About the job
You will work with service, maintenance and repair tasks on board vessels. The whole world is your workplace, and your assistance is often needed within short notice. As the maritime sector undergoes a green transition process with new environmental requirements, there are a number of upgrade tasks of current installations. Your main tasks include:
Service, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and upgrading of boilers, burners and control systems
Inspection of boiler systems
Commissioning of boiler plants and retrofit systems
Training of crews in handling and servicing boiler systems
Technical support and documentation.
Travel activities will be up to 160 days per year.
What you know
You probably come with an educational background within marine engineering or similar. Previous experience with boilers or field service experience on board vessels is an advantage. Additional you have electrical and automation knowledge related to boiler controllers. You have strong reporting skills including producing SOP’s.
As part of a global organisation, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite and cultural awareness is a must.
