Development and production Brazil (DPB) is responsible for the company’s operations and business development in Brazil. DPBs ambition is to develop safe and sustainable value growth in Brazil, shaping the future of energy and bringing progress for society. Equinor has been present in Brazil since 2001 and is located with head office in Rio de Janeiro. The company has a diverse portfolio with activities at all stages including: - Exploration licenses (Campos, Espirito Santo and Santos basin), - Operated producing asset: Peregrino field (Campos Basin), that is our largest operated international offshore operation; - Partner operated licenses: Roncador field (Campos Basin) in partnership with Petrobras - Project Development: BM-C-33 (Campos Basin) and Bacalhau (Pre-salt development in Santos basin) - Renewable energy: Apodi solar project in partnership with Scatec Solar (which is under construction in the Ceará state).

This role sits within the Technical Competence team but will provide support on Technical Integrity and for Operation Projects on mechanical activities of Equinor field assets. Main role of this position is to execute field inspections and NDEs – (Non-destructive exams) on static equipment in the scope of NR13 and SPIE programs. Provide guidance, support and expertise to ensure integrity and maintenance activities, related to mechanical systems and disciplines, are carried out in compliance with Equinor and local NR-13 / SPIE Authorities requirements.Job Description• Be an Equipment Inspector, as per NR13 requirements. Execute NDEs in accordance to ABENDI requirements (minimum US N1 – ME; Liquid Penetrant LP N2 G); Welding Inspector and Rope Access are plus. The position can also act as PH in accordance to Equinor SPIE and NR13, considering Engineering qualifications;

• Be a Technical advisor on mechanical, inspection and maintenance activities within Technical Competence team, for Equinor Fields in Brazil;

• Provide Support for Technical Integrity on ensuring that the assets are inspected, required activities are planned and reported in compliance with Equinor, International and local authorities requirements, such as ANP, Navy and Labour Ministry, Flag (Bahamas), IMO Regulations and Class Societies (ex.: Lloyd's Register);

• Provide support and guidance for define strategies related to preventive maintenance and inspection programs preparation and updates in SAP for relevant systems and equipments, with focus on Authorities regulations and Equinor governing requirements compliance;

• Be responsible for Equinor Performance Standards (PS);

• Be part of Management of Change (MoC) evaluation and approval process, assuring compliance with Authorities and Equinor requirements and confirming deliveries are in accordance with agreed expectations, within his area of responsibilities;

• Develop and implement actions derived from inspection campaigns findings;

• Support day to day activities, doing a close follow-up of systems and inspections within his/her area of responsibility and confirming systems' comply with applicable requirements and run within designed envelope;

• Planning, performing and follow up internal and external audits on the offshore units, as necessary;

• Provide input to short and long term technical plan;

• Be part of Equinor Professional Network, within his/her activity area, assuring tasks performed are in line with Equinor Global requirements;

• Experience in performing contractors technical and safety assessments linked to bid processes and regular evaluations;

• Evaluate drawings, procedures and engineering documents from engineering contractors;

• Lead and give support on internal inspection campaigns, manage and guide contractors, including implementation and management of RBI programs.Qualifications• Higher level education with university degree in mechanical, naval engineering is preferred;

• At least 10 year of experience on the Inspection area;

• Must have NDT qualification and Equipment Inspection Course (568 hours) completed;

• Experience with NR-13, SPIE and RBI for piping and static equipment;

• Experience with corrosion management: Inspection, characterization, superficial treatment, coating application and painting repairs;

• Experience with PSVs management;

• Multidisciplinary knowledge and experience;

• Knowledge in inspection technics: MP, LP, eddy current etc;

• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required;

• Experience with Pipes and Valves and Static Mechanical Equipment will be a plus;

• Knowledge of valves technology: PSV, non-return, choke etc. will be a plus;

• Good knowledge and experience of integrity management components in an operating asset along with other relevant engineering standards and practices material engineering;

• Knowledge and experience in dealing with National (Brazil) and International rules and regulations, such as, but not limited to, ANP, IBAMA, Brazilian Navy, Brazilian Labour Ministry, MODU Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, API, NFPA and Lloyd's Register rules;

• Strong computer and software skills (SAP, excel, power point, Internet);

• Effective communication ability and presentation skills;

• Ability to work on a planned and organized way;
