Description

Imagine a future where you work with colleagues globally to orchestrate the delivery of products and services to support Ørsted’s businesse
Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for infrastructure capacity management, coordinating infrastructure components deployments and deliveries while ensuring the security and design standards are followed and documented in both our ITSM and CMDB systems. You’ll also work in close dialogue with the business to translate and realise their requirements for your deliveries.
Welcome to IT/OT Infrastructure Engineering
You’ll be part of Production IT Product Line (IPL) where you, together with your colleagues, will work towards ensuring a secure, stable, and scalable infrastructure for our Production IT (OT) environment. The Production IPL is ramping up its organisation in the coming period, and this is a great opportunity to join at a time where you really can influence how we work. We work according to the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
You’ll play an important role in:
ensuring that ordering new or additional HW for our many systems are handled in an accurate and timely manner
coordinating server deployments, making sure all requirements are implemented end-to-end, incl. application deployment, documentation, and handover to the business
managing requests in our ITSM system, and making sure that configuration is updated in our CMDB
making sure that the base for our financial control of infrastructure components is up to date
shaping how we incorporate agile into our team.
To succeed in the role, you:
have a general technical background, with knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, VMware vSphere, and vCentre Storage, and perhaps DB servers, incl. MS SQL, Oracle DB, or other SQL DBs
have a good grasp of infrastructure Management tools, Cloud services, Deployment methods and Automation Network, and perhaps also ServiceNow incident and service management, incl. CMDB
have a basic knowledge of code repositories and deployment platforms, e.g., Terraform, ARM, or Ansible, and are familiar with SAFe and of working in an agile setup
perhaps have experience of, or have an ambition to learn how IT Infrastructure is managed in regulated industries, e.g., food, utilities, life science, or financials (NERC, NIS, ISO62443 etc.)
have compelling communication skills, can express yourself fluently in English, and have an excellent customer mindset.
