Raa Labs is a subsidiary of the Wilhelmsen Group focusing on driving digitalization and technology within the maritime industry. The company currently employs close to 20 technologists and maritime domain experts. We are located together with the Wilhelmsen group in modern offices at Lysaker, Norway.
The maritime industry needs to change how it operates in order to cope with changing regulations, as well as operational and financial demands. We want to drive change, openness and access to data within the maritime industry, unleashing innovation to improve the industry’s environmental and financial sustainability. At the heart of this challenge lies the need for a modern vessel infrastructure that enable the industry to efficiently leverage vessel data on the journey to decarbonization.
Raa Labs ́ vision is to accelerate digitalization in the maritime industry, with particular focus on digitalizing the global shipping fleet to lower emissions, reduce operational cost and increase safety. Raa Labs has developed an infrastructure solution, Raa Edge, that we are currently scaling to the global market.

Purpose of the role
The purpose of the Implementation manager role is to be responsible for driving and managing projects and initiatives in the intersection between project management, operations and technology. The role is instrumental in supporting efficient implementation and scaling of the Raa Edge infrastructure across our customer base, as well as to support in technical and operational matters. As a Customer Support Engineer you will be at the sharp end of our customer engagements with broad exposure to both customers and other stakeholders.
Role description
As a Implementation manager at Raa Labs, you play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our Raa EDGE solution. Your primary responsibility is to ensure progress on all project related initiatives through team management, technical implementation or coordination with 3rdparty stakeholders. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers gain value from their digitalizing initiatives. To be successful in the role you will rely on good communication, effectively troubleshooting technical issues and efficiently coordinating different stakeholders to reach our goals and deliver on customer projects.
However, at Raa Labs, it doesn't stop there!
You will also actively contribute to our product development and be responsible for creating and maintaining internal and customer-facing documentation. We also expect you to proactively take initiative to continuously improve our processes and give your input on how we better can provide value to our customers.

To do this successfully, you are comfortable communicating with developers, domain experts, technical product and service suppliers and customer stakeholders alike. You have experience working in technical delivery projects or an adjacent position, and you are not afraid of taking the initiative and seeing things through. As our Implementation manager, you will be an unmissable link in building a successful Customer Success team, and we need the best to do so!
The key responsibilities of the role
Drive and manage Raa Edge implementation projects or tasks, individually or as part of larger delivery teams
Actively engage with clients, understanding their pain points and supporting them in realizing value from our service offering
Manage relevant outsourced suppliers & technology partners if and as relevant for projects/engagements
Manage and drive communication initiatives and projects to relevant stakeholders internally and externally
Develop solid project documentation
Configure hardware deliveries and coordinate shipments and installation with necessary stakeholders
