Do you possess great people management skills and find it easy to communicate with a diverse set of stakeholders?Tasks & responsibilities: You will……be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment for all employees, as well as for making sure that top management is committed to the HSE of the organisation. In this respect, you will support, communicate and report HSE issues to top management, including performing management reviews. You will furthermore be responsible for the management of the local HSE department, and communicate general HSE issues to the local management, the HSE department and the employees. It will be your responsibility to ensure a good, open and developing climate in the HSE department.You will also be responsible for:Implementing, conducting and assessing safety meetings in the organisationEnsuring compliance with MVOW policy and legal requirementsDeveloping and implementing targets/PIs and “work environment discussions”, as well as following up on performanceAssessing risks, opportunities and mitigation regarding HSECarrying out site inspections and investigating incidents, as well as implementing corrective actions in close collaboration with the line managementManaging internal and external HSE audits and ensuring closure of findingsEnsuring coaching and development of the safety organisation by providing resources and training for the HSE department, and ensuring that managers and group leads perform safety dialoguesDeveloping, maintaining and testing the efficiency of the emergency response planSkills & experience: Our new colleague……has a minimum of five years of experience within HSE, and should have a relevant technical or HSE background.
