The big changes we have made to our business mean big opportunities for HR Generalists.
We’re Lloyd’s Register (LR). We have recently reshaped our business, sharpening our focus on the global maritime sector and now, as a team, we are excited about the new possibilities. It is the perfect time to join us and make an impact on our business and growyour career.
Here, you will be closer to the decision-makers than in your current role and empowered to bring about real change, shaping the HR landscape to suit a refocused business. And, best of all, you will be doing it with an organisation that has been creating a safer world and a better society for many generations.
About the role
This is an ideal move for an HR generalist who is excited by the prospect of working on a broad range of challenges, with a high level of client interaction. You will be an all-round professional, sharing your knowledge with managers across the Danish and Nordics territory – home to around 150 employees.
Working alongside the Area HR Head as part of a team of generalists supporting North Europe(plus colleagues in our London-based Centre of Excellence), you could be providing support on anything from contract advice for permanent and contractor roles to coaching managers, to legal cases and onboarding. You will also have the chance to work on initiatives to develop global and local processes as we continue to reshape our business.
What you can add
If you want to contribute your ideas on how HR should be embedded into the organisation, we’ll listen. Equipped with a degree and/or a qualification in HR/employment law, you will most likely already be working for a global organisation and be motivated by the opportunity to work across territories.
Technically, we are looking for up-to-date knowledge of Danish employment law and preferably some experience of working with manager and employees in other Nordic or Baltic countries. . You have delivered labour policy and regulations before.
Personally, you need a hands-on, can-do mentality coupled with the all-round communication skills to build trust with colleagues at every level. Because you will have such a broad remit, it is important that you have the ability to see the bigger picture – you are someone who can make connections between business needs and understand how these tie in with global policy and local legislation.
We anticipate that you will spend two days in the office and three working from home – this should balance the visibility the role demands with the flexibility you need.
Why join us?
Tackle an intellectually challenging role at a time of organisational change
Be part of an independent organisation with a strong purpose – one that’s guided by principles, not just profit.
An annual salary of at least Euro 50,000 – although we are prepared to offer more, if you can convince us you have precisely the experience, skills and qualifications we need.
Big company benefits including 25 days’ holiday, pension, private health cover, and lots more.
Work-life balance. We have been working flexibly and at home for years and we are really good at it.
A world of opportunity. Succeed in this role and there are so many different, interesting routes for you to explore
