In order to absorb the continuous increase of its cruise managed fleet, Wilhelmsen Ship Management Norway (WSM) is looking for the best suitable candidate to join and reinforce the shore-side team
The position:
Ship’s hotel interior quality and appearance is one of the highest focus for our client, which requires the finest and most delicate eye, together with the ability to manage extensive and fleet wide assets management.
We are looking for a Hotel Superintendent who will join Wilhelmsen Ship Management to manage the cruise fleet interior scope as described below.

The position reports to Fleet Manager/Cruise fleet, with a functional reporting to each of the respective Vessels Managers.
With a pool of more than 9,200 seafarers and over 500 shore-based employees all over the world, Wilhelmsen Ship Management is one of world’s largest third-party ship managers with a portfolio of more than 450 vessels and counting.About the location / department

The position will be located at Lysaker close to Oslo, Norway - which provide one of the best work/life balance, in an environment of what large Cities can offer, and a unique and direct access to white winter ski and sea!
Required experience and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in architecture (ideally Naval), or equivalent qualification in maritime engineering discipline, or Cruise ships interior design.
Min 5 years’ experience in cruise ship building accommodation construction and/or operations in relevant field of expertise. Alternatively, Luxury shore side Hotel facility management experience
Shore based experience would be a great advantage
Strong organization, delegation and interpersonal skills
Fluent English language skills
What you will be doing: (Main Responsibilities)

In cooperation and compliance with our Client overall business objectives and growth strategies:
Define and deploy fleet standards related to hotel interior maintenance and inspection routines, considering best practices and experience sharing between vessels
Define and implement fleet strategy in relation to equipment and furniture’s renewal program
Provide fleet support, expertise and guidance related to planned and unplanned repairs and maintenance needs, and ensure that issues are resolved or repaired in a timely manner minimizing guest disruption
Supported by our global procurement services, select, establish service contracts, and follow-up on supplier costs, quality & performance and maintain and develop frame agreements
Performance of in-service and DD-projects management of hotel refits/refurbishments which includes solution/scope/budget definition & validation process, preparation of specifications, execution while ensuring class and flag requirement are adhered to.What we offer:
