About the role
X Shore is a fast growing company, shaping the future of electric mobility. The team is small and consists of committed designers, engineers and builders, working closely together. We are now looking to add an individual who can join the team and take responsibility for the supply chain, identifying and procuring the right components for our electrical boats.
This Head of Supply Chain and Procurement will be responsible for building the supply chain function within X Shore and for procurement of components and materials, from carbon fiber hulls and advanced engineering services for CFD simulation to electrical components such as motors, inverters and cable harnesses. You will do supplier evaluations, set up key partnerships with boat building factories, negotiate prices for battery packs and issue PO’s for nuts and bolts. Working closely with our designers and engineers, you will manage the BOM and make sure our boat builders have the components they need.
We believe that you have a background in mechanical and/or electrical component procurement and a strong interest in boats and sustainability. You may have previous experience from a fast paced start-up or just a desire to work in a small fast growing company. A strong interest and/or experience in the leisure boating and/or marine industry is mandatory and you should already know your way around a boat. You also have to be located in Stockholm.
