We are now hiring a Head of Offshore Prototypes & Equipments (PRT). Our Offshore Prototypes Department is responsible for driving and developing the continuous improvement of products and new technologies related to construction activities. The Team has very dedicated and engaged members, with a high seniority and a wide range of knowledge.
How to contribute to our vision

As Head of PRT you will be responsible for ensuring visibility and communication of activities with relevant stakeholders. It is also expected of the Head of PRT to achieve development and results through leadership of an expert team. Within your responsibilities also lies the requirement to identify and resolve current and future challenges related to the constructability of Offshore Wind Turbines in co-operation with other departments and develop immediate and mid-term solutions together with the experts in the team. Always ensuring our Zero Harm policy and upholding Compliance guidelines is a prerequisite in the position. You also need to ensure expert knowledge on all Offshore products, specialist equipment and special projects are maintained within the team of experts. It will be important to link to the departments responsible for development of products and equipment for recommendation of improvements/constructability and follow up on safety critical changes. Allocation of resources to R&D, OF EN, INO for prototype installations, mock-up, testing and special projects
Moreover, your responsibilities cover:
People Management:
Strengthen team spirit and maintain shared team values
Delegate responsibilities to specialists/ experts
Monitor individual and team performance and act when required, provide regular and constructive feedback
Develop employees and respond appropriately to diversity within the team
Ensure ordering of parts, tools and safety equipment for prototype installation and test assembly activities
Ensure timely and documented input and feedback to the departments responsible for development of products and technologies during product development covering also safety and quality issues
Introduction of new products and technologies through prototype training and knowledge sharing, to ensure readiness to a high level in the commercial projects
Developing team goals & budget, designing strategies and organizing resources to achieve the department goals
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

You should have several years of experience/proven results in the Offshore wind business. Preferable as Head of a Development Department. You should also have an overall understanding of the cost drivers of an Offshore project. Strong technical understanding is not required, but excellent communication skills on all levels. For you networking and knowledge sharing comes naturally. You have strong listening skills to quickly resolve challenges as they arise and to understand the challenges of the high-performance team members. As a person you are open-minded and can keep calm during challenging moments. You are able to assess challenges as they arise and devise the best actions for moving forward together with the team. You get motivation by facing up challenges and enjoy being the main character in the role as the liaison between the internal interfaces
