ICEYE is building and operating its own commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time – even when it’s cloudy or dark – providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.
We launched the world’s first small SAR satellite in January 2018. To date, ICEYE has successfully launched a total of 10 SAR satellite missions and has raised $152M in financing. We don’t plan to stop - join our team and let’s achieve great things together!

To support the growth of the company, we are looking for a Head of PR & Communications to join the global Marketing and Communications team within ICEYE, reporting to VP Marketing.
We are looking for a PR & communications star who uses their talent to create and implement impactful programs that strengthen and broaden our relationships with media, engage our target audiences and boost our brand awareness significantly, globally.
The role:
This position requires an experienced public relations and communications specialist to both plan and implement the hands-on activities on this domain, as well as leverage internal spokespeople and external audiences including customers, media, stakeholders, and business partners for high impact.
What you will do:
Create and execute PR & communications plan and related high-visibility media & communications outreach programs in alignment with ICEYE’s business objectives Own PR & communications objectives and related performance tracking and reporting Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media Create and manage ICEYE press announcements, press events, interviews and media relations in collaboration with our press agency and relevant stakeholders, including day-to-day press enquiries Develop and drive the ICEYE narrative, promoting our company strategy, vision, products & solutions and the value those bring to our customers Create and edit content including press releases, customer stories and blog posts Manage spokespeople training and provide support to our spokespeople executing successful communications and media relations. Oversee executive profiling.
What you need to succeed:
BA/BSc or MA/MSc in communications, journalism, public relations or marketing 5-10 years of PR/Communications experience (agency and/or in-house) with proven results of successful PR programs, including US & international media Impeccable communication, writing and project management skills Thrives in a fast-paced growth environment Fluency in English Flexible, positive attitude with entrepreneurial hands-on drive and spirit
