In this role, you will be in charge of the project portfolio for one of the maritime industry’s spearhead products, Azipod® electric propulsion system, to the most exciting customers all around the world. Azipod® enables unrivalled efficiency improvement and maneuvering capability to various vessel types. For more than 30 years, we have been honoured to work with customers who share our high vision of sustainable shipping. You will be part of our unit’s management team and leader of operations department driving ambitious growth targets and have a leading role in safe, high quality, on-time and profitable execution of our large project portfolio. You will work in dynamic and versatile project environment with direct global customer interface. You will manage a large team of strong professionals in project management, engineering and documentation and collaborate seamlessly with sales, supply management, development, production and other interest groups. You will also be the driving force for our operations’ continuous improvement and development of the whole order-delivery process with high focus on safety, quality and efficient ways of working. Strong ownership and hands-on attitude are highly valued. You will inspire the team to exceed our customers’ expectations!
This position reports to

Your responsibilities
Ensuring safe order-delivery process execution
Ensuring that operations organization is professionally led, organized, staffed and skilled
Maintaining and developing strong relationships with key customers
Driving for on-time and high quality deliveries to financial targets and beyond customer expectations
Overseeing projects with project teams, identifying risks and implementing mitigation actions
Demonstrating your own example and engaging the whole organization to continuous improvement in safety, quality and cost efficiency
Your background
Over 10 years’ work experience with minimum 5 years as a line manager and solid track record on delivering results against targets
Experience on international project business, contract management and negotiations
Self-starter with sharp business mind and strong financial acumen
Strong multi-stakeholder management capabilities
Mature leadership skills with collaborative, solution-focused approach
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and good Finnish skills
Technical education; M.Sc. or B.Sc.
