DNV is now looking for graduates who are ready to join us from August/September 2022 to join our Control Systems and Cybernetics Advisory team in Trondheim.
Control Systems and Cybernetics Advisory is part of DNV's Maritime Advisory unit. We are currently a group of 10 people with growth ambitions, located in Lysgården on Sluppen in Trondheim. We work with testing of complex safety critical systems for the maritime and offshore industry and we perform dynamic positioning simulation studies for assessing vessel’s station-keeping performance. We also develop and deliver web-based and simulator-based solutions to our clients world-wide. We are looking for curious engineers that want to work with us on different aspects of our projects. To start with we are looking for capacity in projects, but then also on the product development and business development side. In our unit we work with all aspects of projects, from sales to project execution. Our clients include energy companies, rig and ship owners, shipyards and ship designers.

Position Qualifications:

We are primarily hiring candidates with relevant Bachelor's/Master’s/PhD degree who have a background in Electro/Cybernetics/Marine with a special interest in programming. We require one or more relevant programming languages, Matlab/Simulink, Java, JavaScript, C++ and web development tools.
