Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP), a leading expert in the offshore wind industry, has established a 24-month program that will offer you high-impact, hands-on experience in a challenging work environment, along with structured training and specialized mentoring. This is a full-time position in which you will start adding value to our company and creating a more sustainable planet from day one. As a Graduate, you will be exposed to the complete value chain of complex large-scale offshore wind projects, and you will be owner of your career development based on your interests and ambitions.

It executes projects for one of the leading green infrastructure fund managers in the world, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP). The delivery model within COP is focused on working in agile teams consisting of some of the best and most experienced professionals in the industry. We are a highly motivated, diverse, and skilled workforce driven by the goal of saving the planet.

Copenhagen Offshore Partners’ (COP’s) offshore wind development activities are growing rapidly, with projects in Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia. We currently have offices in 12 cities and expect to open more. Our employee base is also growing, and we now number more than 200 colleagues who cannot wait for you to join the team.

The Graduate position and program

The Graduate program offers an opportunity to work with different disciplines within project management while being directly engaged along the full value chain of large-scale offshore wind projects and working alongside some of the leading industry experts. The Graduate position will consist of 3 rotations in different roles over 24 months.

In addition to the business team where you will carry out your daily work, you will also become part of a global Graduate community together with 15-20 other Graduates across COP. This community offers you an international network with whom you can share experiences and learnings.

To develop your potential further, the Graduate Program offers structured training activities in tandem with your fellow Graduates. You will also have a dedicated mentor throughout the program who will serve as a sounding board when it comes to your personal development. Your direct manager in each of the 3 rotations will also support you on daily operations.

When you have completed this unique fast-track program, you will be ready for a more expansive role within Copenhagen Offshore Partners.

Your Graduate Journey

The Graduate Program is for recent master’s graduates or candidates with a maximum of 2 years of work experience. The program duration is 24 months, during which you will have 3 rotations, each with clear learning objectives to support your growth.

An important part of our company culture is personal empowerment. That means we want you to take a leading role in defining your own development and actively seek opportunities for you to grow together with us. While the first two rotations are chosen by us to provide you with a comprehensive toolbox, you will have the opportunity to identify a business function and location in one of our 12 global offices for your last rotation.

Your first 2 rotation positions will be in our office in Copenhagen, which will also be considered your home base.

Your profile

You have an educational background within Engineering, Law, Finance/Economics, Business Management, Commercial or other related fields. You have just finalized or are about to finish your master’s degree and have no more than 2 years of work experience post-graduation. You are ambitious, focused, and committed to working with offshore wind.
You also:
have achieved good results in your studies

have a passion for project management and a desire to work with some of the most complex projects in the offshore wind industry

consider yourself a bit of an entrepreneur, someone who can think out of the box and want to help enable the further success of COP

thrive with being hands-on

get energized by working in teams and would describe yourself as collaborative

have an ability to build partnerships with stakeholders across diverse cultures and layers of the organisation

have good English skills, both verbal and written

The company is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark and our project portfolio covers the whole world. Our footprint has expanded from Australia, Denmark, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, USA in 2019 to opening offices in Scotland and Vietnam in 2020 and Greece, Italy, and France in 2021 with many more to come. COP is led by its two co-founders and is owned by its management.

The demand for green energy is rising and more countries and governments prioritize offshore wind as a source for renewable power. Application process

The deadline to submit your application is 17 April 2022. When you submit your application, please submit your CV, and complete the application questionnaire. The questionnaire will allow us to get insight into your preferred graduate position, your motivation for applying as well as a few other details. There is no need to submit a cover letter.

We expect to run the interview and offer process during the month of May. Your employment with COP will commence on 1 September 2022.
