Byggfakta Group is seeking a dynamic Global Chief Technology Officer to accelerate the company’s transformation of the industry. Position Summary
As the top technology executive, the Global CTO will oversee the strategy and performance of the Company’s overall software platforms, with an emphasis on developing innovative and commercially successful products, leading talent development across a distributed global workforce, standardizing development methodologies, and integrating and rationalizing acquired product offerings.
The Global CTO will report to the CEO, and manage a global team of nearly 200 employees, and be part of the Executive Leadership Team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Coach, develop and engage five local CTOs and a team of ~200 distributed professionals across technology and product groups and serve as the voice on company culture / values
Work cross-functional with Product Management / Customer leaders and provide input regarding the optimal technological direction for the organization
Maintain robust and secure IT infrastructure and KPIs to support performance
Integrate acquired businesses and rationalize global product portfolio
Ensure consistent development methodologies and practices across organization
Research emerging technologies that could support the company’s future growth
Evaluate and approve technology team headcount, hiring and individual performance (including assessment of possible offshore or 3rd party capabilities)
Requirements and experience
Proven experience from a leadership or management role within a high growth SaaS organization that has grown organically and through M&A
Experience evaluating and integrating dispersed engineering teams (via acquisition), optimizing current team and/or leveraging external resources
Led a global engineering organization
History of identifying operational inefficiencies in all parts of the development lifecycle (people/process/technology) and providing thoughtful, effective solutions.
Experience seamlessly integrating platforms and/or transitioning customers from an on-premise product to a SaaS-based solution, with zero customer disruption
Experience leading and developing multi-platform, SaaS solutions
Proven experience designing product roadmaps and successfully releasing new software products into a market on time and on budget
Your personality is important to us. We believe you are an innovative, passionate executive with strong communication skills including excellent presentation and writing skills. We think you have an entrepreneurial mindset and are fluent in both the Swedish and English language. Furthermore, you most likely have an academic background and a true interest of developing international relations.
Position Location
Stockholm, Sweden
International travelling is expected in this role.
