We have a track record in making wind energy solutions possible even under the most demanding conditions – deep waters, on challenging soil, and in regions with high seismic activity. When offshore, we design both floating and bottom fixes structures. Since 1980, we have been involved in more than 1,000 wind power projects in 70 countries.Our offshore wind organisation consists of dedicated specialists and project managers, covering all main design services. We are part of COWI's major business line - International and work in a highly international environment with projects all over the world from offices in Denmark, Germany, Norway, UK, North America, Middle East, and South East Asia.DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTSYou will be part of the Geoscience team working across offices with the rest of the offshore wind team, driving innovation and making a difference in offshore wind design. Together with the rest of the geoscience team, you will strengthen your site characterization and geotechnical design skills. You will be part of the internal drive in challenging status quo design, a prerequisite to a transformative restructuring that is in line with the market need. Your skills will influence the end result and thus benefit the client. COWI's Geoscience team paves the way for some of the best practice approaches adopted across the department, and you will be working together with the rest of the team to achieve this. The team consists of engineers located in different offices who bring skills, passion and enjoy team working.On a day-to-day basis, you will:As a Design lead, provide leadership and expertise to the project team and manage the internal competence development.Work as a geotechnical project engineer accountable for all activities associated with offshore investigations, from planning to backoffice support as well as liaisons with different stakeholders.Work as a geotechnical site assessment project engineer for a project from an early development phase through to construction and responsible for approval of designs, assessments and calculations in accordance with quality procedures and coordination of work.Provide technical support and assurance to the assigned project, ensuring application of state of art designBe passionate and drivenCOWI is a leader within our field, because our employees are leaders within theirs.
