Reports to: CFO
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Perform tasks associated with month/year-and close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations;
Perform analytical reviews of the operating results to ensure the reasonability and accuracy of report;
Responsible for the reporting to CFO, working with the tasks above in collaboration with the accounting team;
Assist in optimizing and improve the reporting;
Project reporting;
Other ad hoc tasks.Person Specification:
Experience with multi-national companies & multiple legal entities within oil and gas industry;
High experience in hedging/foreign exchange;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
Strong work ethics, accountability.Essential:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, industrial economics or equivalent;
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably as an accountant, controller or from a similar role;
Professionally confident in finance and accounting (specifically budget forecasting and cost accounting);
Good system and IT competence, including Excel and preferably also experience from Oracle NetSuite;
Very good linguistic ability in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing;
High experience in hedging/foreign exchange;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
Strong work ethics, accountability.Desirable:
Cash flow management experience;
Currency management;
Consolidation of group accounts;
US-GAAP as accounting principle;
Knowledge about of lifting equipment.Compliance:
Complies with Ocean Infinity management system policies, all OIMS practices, programs, and procedures;
Successfully completes required training as identified by OIMS and the management team;
Participates in the OIMS by reporting events, attending meetings and workshops, reporting problems, and recommending improvements, and other related activities;
Informs an Ocean Infinity Supervisor, Team Lead, or Manager of any unidentified risks, hazards, or system deficiencies in the workplace;
