The Role
Your daily work will include different activities, such as follow up manufacturing at customer site and survey onboard ships. The work will mainly be executed in the Northern part of Jutland but also rest of Denmark when needed. Travel will be required.
You will draw on your experience to score marine assets against relevant standards, inspecting, approving and assessing installations, parts of installations, reparations and/or products whether new or in service.
You will:
Be responsible for the certification of materials and components for ships and offshore units.
Survey of marine equipment, machinery, electrical and automation installations at manufacturers intended for ships, offshore installations, and newbuilding’s.
Survey of hull and machinery and statutory onboard ships and newbuilding’s.
Regularly meet and interact with our customers and support with technical assistance to clients.
Following up periodical ship surveys and assessments at customer sites and providing local support both on site and remotely.
The work is carried out within our geographical area, but some travel must be expected.
You will need:
A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organisation recognised by Lloyd’s Register within the relevant field of engineering or physical science (minimum of two years programme) or Qualifications from a marine or nautical institution and relevant sea-going experience as a certificated ship’s officer.
