Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and south of Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We aim to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas North and Central Europe the best place to work.
NCE Transport & Customs is responsible for supervising the entire supply chain from manufacturing plant to project site within NCE region. The department has an open and informal culture, where team work and good communication is the key to our success. Support for external Suppliers in transportation and lifting of our components, including training and supervising when necessary
First entry surveys in new countries & Ports
Evaluation of surveys
Troubleshooting and investigation for incidents, interacting with internal stakeholders as well as external (suppliers, insurance, customers etc)
Implementation of new transport solutions from VPS into NCE region, as well as new regionsQualifications
You will have extensive technical experience within transport and lifting equipment
Ability to instruct and transfer knowledge at different organisational levels
You will have a good understanding of implementing new solutions, maybe coming from a sub-supplier, surveyor, manufacturer or similar
Heavy industry experience, wind is ideal but other similar industries like oil & gas would also be a fit
Practical knowledge - with your experience you will be able to guide on the reality of what can and what cannot be done
Proven experience of supervising training for others, incident investigation, surveysCompetencies

A good team member with great communication skills.

Travel: extensive travel will be required.
