The department currently consists of 10 employees in a mix of technicians and engineers. The tone in the department is open, unformal and friendly, and we are enthusiastic about assisting each other to create a good atmosphere in the department. It is natural for us to work across the department, and also with other departments within Vestas. The department is a part of the Vestas test and validation based in Aarhus, Denmark.Responsibilities
We want to extend our capabilities within the EMC area to cover more activities in the field. Hence, the person we need, is eager to develop the EMC field test area together with our current engineers and specialists.
Install and handle equipment for EMC test activities in the test turbines on the Danish National Test Centres, as well as in our customers’ turbines
Perform EMC tests on our test turbines and investigate results as well as reporting
Work with the turbine manager on time line and coordination of testing
Give inputs, discuss and give feedback to designers on possibilities and options of new design and solutions
Review test descriptions and document test results in a standardised Vestas templateQualifications
We expect, that you are/ have:
Driver’s license cat. B and e.g. your own car (reimbursement from the company wil be provided)
Solid IT skills, e.g. ability to set up systems and network to enable data acquisition
Bachelor degree or similar experience
Knowledge within the EMC field
Wind turbine knowledge is a benefit
Team-oriented person with good communication skills, motivated and eager to reach higher
Danish and English in reading and writing
Physical fitness and able to go work on the relevant sites and in the turbines

We expect, that you are/ have:
Able to travel one (two weeks at a time) and some days outside the office due to field work
Able to see tomorrow's tasks and act accordingly
Positive attitude and a teamwork spirit

Your primary work location will be our office in Aarhus.
In this position you should expect approximately 50 travel days per year as well as some days outside the office (field work) in the NCE region for majority of the time.
