Job Profile Summary
The electrical subsea cable engineer leads and coordinates the engineering, scoping, and deliverables for offshore wind export and inter-array cable development and construction for offshore wind projects.

Essential Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (electrical engineering, power systems etc)Essential experience and job requirements
Experience of projects (pre-FEED/FEED/detailed design, construction, installation and operations support)
Relevant subsea systems/power/cable engineering experience including detailed understanding of the relvant codes and standards applicable to this scope.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across functions and within multi-disciplinary teams High motivation and the ability to set and achieve goals as part of a team
Able to define and prioritise issues and solve problems through focused effort and networking with other team members or external sources
Technically competent in electrical engineering and subsea discipline
Can performance manage others (including. 3rd party engineering services providers) and support timely decision making
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desirable criteria & qualifications
Experience of offshore wind projects. Proven technical experience with design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of high voltage AC and DC cables ideally up to and including 400kV. Experience of contributing to integration across other functions The ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision Chartered engineer status Strong leadership, facilitation and problem solving / analytical skills
HSSE Accountabilities
Accountable for leading the safe design of the electrical subsea cable array system, ensuring conformance to appropriate codes and standards
