Electrical Surveyor– advise the shipping industry on path to electrificationBureau Veritas, CopenhagenDo you have a background in Electrical Engineering, and would you like to join one of the world’s leading classification societies?This is your chance to build your knowledge along with a team of experts that provide the major shipping companies with help on technical matters related to all aspects of their operations.More specifically, you:-Answer question from clients, help CSC/Ships in Service department with some urgent matter, close comments based on client replies and assist clients in understanding other comments, review drawings against Class and Statutory regulations.-Review and validation of drawings of marine constructions and equipment within the limits of the applicable Rules, Regulations and NPO delegations.-Continuous development of the level of technical content and data on which the professional judgement is based.Become an expert on maritime rulesYou mainly advise our customers on review and validation of drawings of marine constructions and equipment within the limits of the applicable Rules, Regulations and NPO delegations local and international. Quickly, you become an expert on these, and as new rules and regulations are passed, you familiarize yourself with them too, so you never stop learning with the customer and your colleagues.This being said, you will also encounter questions that you do not know the answer to. Experience with Cyber security is a plusYou hold an education as, MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, preferable with experience from a maritime environment.
