Quickly, you become an expert on these, and as new rules and regulations are passed, you familiarize yourself with them too, so you never stop learning with the customer and your colleagues.This being said, you will also encounter questions that you do not know the answer to. This means that your focus may shift quickly.You have solid technical background or experience within the marine/electrical industry – probably from a designer/shipyard or an equipment manufacturer which has given you basic knowledge of Electrical Systems & Automation. Experience with Cyber security is a plusYou hold an education as, MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, preferable with experience from a maritime environment.
