If you strive towards delivering high-quality technical documentation that offers a holistic service which creates returning customers, then look no further!For our Documentation Team at Kongsberg Maritime Sweden, we are now looking for a goal-oriented, organized and driven Documentation Engineer who can contribute to delivering high-quality customer documentation. You will be part of the Product Management Propeller Department. Here the customers and products are in focus, and we always strive to be the market leader in propulsion by delivering world class products accompanied by world class documentation.As a Documentation Engineer you will have various exciting tasks, such as creating and updating instructions for our manuals. You will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, control and development of documentation for parts of, or entire customer projects. The documentation includes, for example, technical function descriptions, quality instructions, inspection and test plans as well as project documentation according to customer requirements.We seek you who want to influence the result in a unique way by collecting the information needed to write high-quality technical information. You have close contact with engineers, project managers and purchasers, and together you produce the basis for the documents which you then rewrite in a professional manner. Therefore, we think that you are a great communicator with excellent collaboration skills. You have experience of documentation according to the S1000D-standard. We also think that your natural sense of details, structure and order enables you to have a flexible approach to changes in your daily routine.Qualifications:Education or work experience as a Technical Communicator or similarVery high level of English (primarily in writing)Experience of working in an XML-based tool according to S1000DIt is also preferable, but no requirement, that you have previous experience of illustration work as well as a passion for writing and documentation.
