DNV Summer Project will hire a cross-disciplinary team (like previous years) where you are invited to explore the concept:
Ocean Space Station
We want the team to design and prepare a floating infrastructure station / hub that could provide food, energy, fresh water, waste treatment and any other needed functionality to the world's large urban areas in a sustainable and emission free manner, and at an economical scale.
We believe this would be the ultimate challenge within sustainability engineering.
You will be part of a project team consisting of eight 4th year master students from varying backgrounds, and you will utilize DNVs technical and commercial expertise to find a solution to the question above.
Position Qualifications:

We are seeking a cross-disciplinary team of about eight engaged and dedicated students to help us investigate these opportunities. Your background and passion will typically be within marine / mechanical engineering, renewable energy, sustainability, biology, mathematics, data science, IT or business/economics. Of course, if you are a person people find it fun to work with, we would like to read your application!
