EVP NCE > Region NCE > Offshore Service Support
You will be part of and operate under the Offshore Service organisation in the Vestas NCE Region. The Offshore Service organisation bears the consolidated P&L responsibility for the region. Here you become part of a dedicated team of >500 colleagues who on a daily basis work on delivering Offshore Services to our trusted customers. This includes everything from strategy work, operational excellence, Health & Safety, technical case handling to delivering the services on the wind turbines offshore from one of our service vessels.
As a Director you will head the Offshore Service Support department. The mission of the department, which consists of 4 very diverse teams, is to support the Offshore Service Operations with key competences, planning abilities, blade service and special tasks & campaigns.
Responsibilities
As a Director, Offshore Service Support you will be responsible for:
Leadership, people management and development of a very diverse set of functions in Offshore Service Support. The department consists of diverse functions and works on complex projects so you will be responsible for leading and developing this diverse group of people
Leading and developing a complex project organisation and setting the furture direction of how projects are run within the department
Participating in the NCE Offshore Service management team. Here you will together with this team define strategy, budgets, targets and improvement projects
Deliver portfolio planning across the NCE Offshore Service fleet, including long term planning aimed at creating an overview of the resource demand. Focus is on human resources, but the ambition is to include all aspects of our delivery.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is expected to have the following qualifications:
Relevant educational background at Bachelor’s or Master’s level
Solid experience from an international organization (preferably the wind industry) acting as a strong people leader for diverse teams
Solid experience with project management and driving a project-based organization
Ability to manage change and inspire a team to grow
Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
