Take your career to the next level. Our Renewables Division, Large Projects is looking for a Director, EPC Management for a newly established position.
As Director, EPC Management, you will be reporting to the VP Large Projects. You will have the overall responsibility for the execution of the portfolio of EPC projects in our offshore substation business. This includes assuming full P/L responsibility and acting in accordance with the Semco Maritime leadership role model, to ensure the Group and Division strategy are implemented through the execution of EPC projects.
Our activities are currently in the offshore wind markets in Europe, Asia and the USA and you will be based in either Ballerup or Esbjerg

Key responsibilities and tasks
The overall responsibility for the project portfolio, ensuring that these are executed within budget, time, quality and with a controlled risk
Ensure that continuous learning methods are adopted during the execution.
Responsible for leading and developing your team which includes Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Engineering and Construction Managers.
Ensure a talent pipeline is continually maintained and developed
Ensure that commercial issues which cannot be solved by the PM’s are solved
Cooperation with peers ensuring effective leadership and management of Large Projects
Participate in developing and implementing the division strategy
Support tender development and assume accountability for PM, Engineering- and construction Management hours in tenders
Participate in tender approvals
Maintain a safe work environment and support corporate and organizational safety goals in the office, and fabrication sites
Your profile
You hold a Bachelor or a Master of Science in Engineering or a Marine Engineering degree. You have built up a commercial insight and you have a broad technical experience including experience from HSE/Q on construction sites. You are may already be a Project Director or Senior Project Manager and have extensive leadership and management skills including a strong ability to build high-performance teams. You have solid experience in project models
You have excellent communication skills and you are known as a person who can build and maintain professional relationships with your stakeholders.
