How to contribute to our vision
For our Innovation Balance of Plant team, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Data Analyst. The Offshore Innovation team is a group of specialists with focus on the challenges of ensuring a long future for Offshore wind turbines and ensuring that Offshore wind turbines are a significant part of tomorrow’s energy mix. As a group we are aspiring to incubate and develop innovative long-term Balance of Plant solutions to ensure the required reductions of the levelized cost of energy of offshore wind farms, enable competitiveness by providing innovative intelligence and digital tools, contribute to Offshore Strategy, and enable digital safety innovations.
In our team we focus on establishing and managing Offshore Balance of Plant innovation projects, fostering close collaboration with universities, certification bodies, customers and external stakeholders, maturing new installation concepts, and driving BoP digitization and analytics.
As a Data Analyst in our team, you will contribute in AIS, GPS and optical data analysis for vessel contracts, risk analysis, claim management, along with predictive models’ creation for installation performance and data log interface development. You will participate in digital twin development projects for foundations and sub-structures, as well as generation of material cost reports and cost breakdown analysis.
You will become part of a dynamic innovation environment where we work with the latest and most advanced technologies contributing to cost effective future green energy solutions. You will be working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, e.g. industry experts, engineers, analysts, under high quality requirements and tight deadlines. Hence knowledge of renewables sector, ability to prioritize, and balance continuous intelligence development with ad hoc deep-dive business analysis is critical to the success in this role.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change to world to renewable energy.
The ideal candidate holds an academic degree within engineering, data science or similar in combination with thorough practical experience with data analysis and visualization preferably using Python or/and R. You possess robust analytical thinking and have flair for continuous learning, are results oriented, and have out-of-the-box approach to problem solving.
You have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
