Description
OSM Maritime is looking to strengthen the team with a Crew Manager.
Duties and responsibilities
Crew Manager for a dedicated number of offshore units and/or vessels, and ensure that the units are manned with qualified, competent and compliant crew
Recruitment
Arrange training for crew according to the Training and Competence matrix based on the Company’s standards and procedures
Next of kin and onshore emergency response follow up
Monitor and instruct all relevant payroll related activities
Invoicing and claims
Contribute in keeping the management system within crewing updated and in compliance
HR Management
Qualifications
Previous experience as Crew Manager in the Maritime industry, preferably with Offshore Units
High level of knowledge connected to relevant rules and regulations applying for the crewing industry (STCW /MLC/ Offshore rules/regulations etc.)
Good knowledge of national and international trade union Agreements
Good communication skills and fluent in English
Overall good knowledge in use of IT programs, especially Microsoft Office
