Converter Control HW & FW sub-module is a global and diverse team with people from different locations and develops, verifies, and maintains all software functionalities of converters for all onshore and offshore Vestas turbines. We provide the software for the first-in-class converter solutions of Vestas with quality meeting system and grid requirements.
Responsibilities
As an intern at Converter Control HW & FW, you will be working with Morten Knudsen, which will be your mentor during the internship. The work will primarily be based at Vestas HQ in Skejby, with the possibility to work from home. You will have access to our test facilities and electronic prototype lab, next to our office, where some work might be located. All areas of the electrical engineering profession will be touched. You will also be reporting the manager in Converter Control HW & FW, Ataollah Mokhberdoran which is located in Vestas, Porto, Portugal. Therefore, the team includes abroad co-workers, and most communication will be in English. We will not provide a salary during the internship, but other benefits will be available.
