Though the team you will work close with is the Marine team, which is placed in Denmark, Taiwan, and soon USA.How to contribute to our visionAs Commodity Manager you will be responsible for developing the strategy for the Crew Transfer & Walk-to-Work Vessel Categories, for driving tenders and for supplier developments in excisting and new Offshore markets in close collaboration with the Marine Operations team (MAOP) within the Offshore Business Unit.You are an important counterpart to the MAOP department in BU Offshore to support the business in an innovative way while enabling optimal results from total cost, timing and quality point of view.Further you will lead the following activities:Ensure early involvement in all Sales bids jointly with the technical counterpart team to provide Sales with binding offers & risk and opportunity evaluations for the area of expertiseDefine and implement (Sub)Commodity and Pooling strategies (based on conducted demand, market and supplier analyses) within area of responsibility; evaluate and document in Commodity Strategy Master (CSM) / Strategic Material Segment (SMS) and update regularly; communicate the strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply and strategic Global Value Sourcing.Define and implement negotiation concepts and strategies in the area of responsibility to maximize savings. Negotiate frame contracts; define core assortment; document frame contracts in relevant Supplier Management IT-systems.Identify particular procurement risks, opportunities and market forces to avoid potential damage/ exploit potential opportunities through tailored risk management and change management.What you need to make a difference...Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…A structured team player, who thrives in a busy environment, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders high and low in the organization.You have relevant educational background in business administration, procurement, logistics, shipping or similar and have min. 3+ years relevant experience from a project driven supply chain and/or vessel chartering. If you have experience working with BIMCO and/or FIDIC contracts would be a great advantage.Furthermore, you have a solid knowledge of corporate organizations and processes and have strong and proven project management & negotiations skills. You have excellent communication skills with a strong command of English (written and spoken) and flexibility to travel, as required.Your coaching and motivation skills enable you being a valuable partner for the Management, the Business and the Marine Operations team.This role is based in Vejle (Denmark).
