As our new Buyer you will be part of our purchasing department with great colleagues working on the projects in our Oil & Gas Division. In our Fabrication & Workshops department which you will be a part of we provide solutions for the energy industry at large.
You will report directly to our Purchasing Manager, but in your daily work, you will work closely with the Project Management team in Fabrication where you will assist them with various procurement tasks. You will assist in the procurement of many different goods and services, like steel for fabrication projects, which is a crucial part of our operations.Your tasks & responsibilities
Your overall responsibility will be acting as a general procurement support to Fabrication & Workshops (located at Staget, Esbjerg), sourcing and pricing support for tenders, procurement planning, purchasing and order expediting for projects.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Handling the sourcing process for goods and services for projects and operations within Fabrication and Workshops
Updating systems with supplier information, orders and invoicing
Performing Requisition-to-Purchase Orders
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders in relation to the different aspects of procurement
Searching for new and alternative suppliers
Your profile & qualifications
As a person you are proactive, structured and confident in your work. You enjoy working in an environment where any given day is never the same. For this position it is also necessary to be flexible in your approach to your workday as you may have many different tasks in a given day, so a good sense of time management is something you possess.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:
Experience with and knowledge within procurement and sourcing of goods and services
Experience with steel sourcing, procurement for oil & gas or offshore is beneficial
Knowledge of tendering, quoting and contract negotiation
Fluency in Danish and English, written and verbal
