Customer Experience (CX) provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups. Going beyond Nokia’s telco market footprint, the Enterprise Sales (EnSa) organization conquers the B2B business and sells the entire Nokia product portfolio – hardware, software, platforms, applications, and services – to various industries such as rail, aviation, maritime, air traffic control & space, logistics & retail, automotive & road, manufacturing, energy & utilities, oil & gas, mining, public safety, defense, governments, and cities.
Within the Enterprise Sales organization, the Digital Industries (DI) team is responsible for the 5-year growth strategy of Nokia’s enterprise business with existing and evolving verticals, the definition of use cases, vertical solutions and sales programs, the structuring of segment requirements and the global management of ecosystem partnerships across all verticals.Job Description
The Digital Industries Evolution & Partnerships organization is currently looking for a Business Incubation Trainee
The purpose of this role is to support the identification, assessment and development of new, emerging verticals and solution portfolio elements for Nokia’s enterprise market. The ideal candidate should come with a good economic and business understanding, interest in market trends and customer challenges across various industries and motivation to gather enterprise sales experience. This is a temporary student internship role.
Job Responsibilities
Analyze business trends, market maturity and revenue growth potential for new, emerging customer segments such as Healthcare, Education, Construction, Agriculture, Entertainment, FinTech and others
Create a vertical knowledge base for one or more emerging customer segments as baseline for further assessment and decision making
Support in identifying and assessing innovative solutions and new portfolio elements for Nokia’s enterprise market
Conduct market and online research, information gathering, consolidation and visualization through documents, presentations, or spreadsheets
Contribute to sales collateral creation, management and proposal presentations and ad hoc analysis or reporting
Collaborate with and support the Digital Industries Evolution & Partnerships team
Key Interfaces
Digital Industries, the global segment organization responsible for driving the vertical strategies, solution portfolio, and incubation activities for Nokia’s enterprise business
Market units and regional sales teams, who are the ones selling to our customers
Marketing, market intelligence and other supporting departments, when it comes to market research, sales numbers, and reporting
Cloud and Network Services, as one of our key product houses for private wireless, digital automation and cloud/as-a-service solutions
Qualifications
Professional:
Conducting an economic and/or technical study such as economics, informatics / business informatics, telecommunications, machine or civil engineering or similar
Good business acumen with an understanding for different industries, markets, and regions
Basic sales, project management and communication skills
Fit in creating proposals/documents, presentations, and spreadsheets
High-level technical understanding (networks, hardware/software, cloud, as-a-service,…)
Personal:
Strong interest to identify new markets, business domains and industries, and to contribute to make them a success for Nokia
Very structured, organized, and self-driving work style
Innovative, motivated, and communicative team player
Eager to gather experience in a global, flexible, and multi-dimensional sales organization
