Description
Primary tasks:
Monitor status of ongoing MARINFO projects via MS Planner
Update datasets as and when so requested
Assist in Port Information’s conversion to data structure
Assist in Cargo Database’s conversion to data structure
Extended Content Manager (ECM)
Set up ECM accounts for members and IHS data set contacts
Provide technical support to ECM data providers
Responsible for administrative back-up, including liasion with our good colleageus in the BIMCO Shanghai office
Ad hoc MARINFO departmental tasks
KPI system
new users follow up
Provide support to new and current users
Contact non-active users
Skills and qualifications:
Basic knowledge of shipping
Structured and methodical
Meticulous approach to data handling
Good command of English both written and spoken
Good communication skills and excellent telephone manner
Experienced user of Excel and Access
Preferred availability: 2-3 days a week
