We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and we are an equal opportunities employer.The position of Tender ManagerYour overall responsibility will be to handle all incoming requests, assign and co-ordinate with the required personnel and collate all the required information in order to deliver a winning bid. The level of responsibility may increase as our strategy is to grow the team to 3-5 persons within two years.

As Bid/Tender manager you will coordinate a cross-departmental team of stakeholders, as a minimum consisting of Sales & Marketing, technical and operational groups. Develop effective bid/tender processes both domestically and internationally and ensure that timely and orderly bids are submitted to clients and projects from Sales. Excellent communication and team building skills are essential, but at the same time assume strong ownership of the process from initial request to project close out. Frequent client interaction and project follow up as it progresses is part of the responsibility in addition to acquire qualified voice of the customer after project closeout to ensure organisational learning.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Design and manage bid/tender process
Establish cross-departmental team for bids, RFI, RFQ
Establish good working knowledge of technology and service
Participate in marketing and sales process

Prepare and report project status to management

Participate in marketing, communication and sales strategy
Close cooperation with Operations and Technology
Who are we looking for?You have a background in sales, technical or operational. A good commercial understanding is key, as is relevant industry experience. You have good experience from bid and tender processes, and you have the ability to organise teams from various departments and deliver on time.
