Local Unit & Position Description:

Veracity by DNV is looking for an experienced and proactive person who will join our team in Norway as an Agile Project Manager to help us evolve digital products and services that matters.
The position is a part of the global Assurance Applications Team in Veracity.
Our global distributed team (Norway, Poland, China) designs, builds and maintains digital solutions. The applications are usually data intensive with analytics at its core.
Our competences include design thinking and UX, solution architecture, software development (, back-end), data engineering, data science/analytics and project management.

Exploring simpler and more informed patient journeys in health care through data sharing between consumers and providers (.Net, Node.js, Azure Cloud, Container orchestrators, Service mesh)
Developing a digital platform to connect fuel suppliers and ship owners in the maritime industry (.Net, Azure Cloud, C#, React/Redux)
Providing ship performance and safety solutions using sensor data to improve maritime operations (IOT, C#, Azure Cloud, Power BI, Databricks)
Using ship positioning data to assess risk for collision and environmental impacts along the coastline (Python, Spark, Databricks)
Taking existing services through transformation to new digital business models where customers journeys allows for automation and self-service using data insights to offer customized services (Azure Cloud, Node.js, C#, React/Redux)
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about leading an agile team that can take an idea from a napkin sketch, maturing it by applying innovation techniques and finally building and launching an effective digital solution for complex industry matters. You have long industry experience (Maritime, Energy or other) -with deep interest for the customer’s challenges/needs and to find simplicity in complex problems, and able to combine this with a good understanding of our technology and what it takes to make successful digital solutions.
Your day to day will include:
Guide our stakeholders in the early phases of innovation to explore and gain customer insight
Collaborate with the cross functional team on mapping user journeys and designing an effective end-to-end experience
Plan and facilitate design workshops to validate our early assumptions
Drive feasibility studies to match business requirements with our technology capabilities
Develop agile product/project roadmaps and planning milestones and releases
Put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools to achieve efficiency and effectiveness
Build great self-organized teams by coaching and empowering team members
Collaborate with the team on architecting new features and seeing them through to completion
Communicate with stakeholders and manage expectations
Expose, share and discuss the topic of robust, secure, and scalable solutions with a large network of like-minded colleagues
Position Qualifications:
5 years of relevant professional experience
Proven project manager results in complex technical projects
In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
Good knowledge in innovation techniques and toolsets
Ability to lead teams to find solutions to challenging problems (from idea to product)
Experience with agile practices in combination with traditional project management processes
Knowledge of technology and solution architecture
Interest and skills in security, scalability, and reuse of components
