COMPANY DESCRIPTIONBW Epic Kosan owns and operates a fleet of 76 modern and high quality Refrigerated, Semi-refrigerated and Fully Pressurised gas carriers providing seaborne services for the transportation of Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), Ethylene, Ethane and petrochemicals. Our vessels serve as a crucial link in the international gas supply chains of leading oil majors and commodity trading houses throughout Southeast Asia, Europe, West Africa and the Americas. We employ approximately 2000 seafarers and a multi-national team of over 180 shore-based staff.RESPONSIBILITIESYour professional and personal qualificationsYou have some years of experience from an international company preferably within the maritime industry. In our multicultural working environment, the working language is English, and we expect you to be fluent, both in writing and speaking.Your new jobThe daily tasks will include:Checking bank accounts for transactions and posting of theseManual bank paymentswAssisting with accounts payable and travel expense managementAccounting and controlling of crew related costs and insurance costsVAT reclaim for DK branchGeneral bookkeeping, balancing and reconciliationVarious ad hoc finance tasks incl support to HR and insurance claimsYou will be part of the CPH Finance team of presently five colleagues. From our office in Copenhagen we cooperate with the finance team at the head office in Singapore. However, you can expect close cooperation with colleagues at all our offices working with chartering, operations and marine control, respectively.You will soon be able to leave your mark. Our organisational structure is flat, and we have a friendly atmosphere where working relationships are rated highly among our colleagues. You will report to the Head of Accounting, reporting and tax (DK).This is regular Part Time position (130 hours per month/6 hours per day)QUALIFICATIONSYou have some years of experience from an international company preferably within the maritime industry.
